By using Photo Pattern Maker (photopatternmaker.com) you agree to these terms.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13, and old enough to make purchases where you live or have a parent's permission.
What the service does
Photo Pattern Maker turns a photo you upload into a printable cross stitch, perler bead, crochet, knitting, lego mosaic, diamond painting pattern, matched to real brand colors. It converts the photo's colors; it doesn't create new images. You see a free color preview first; new accounts get a few free patterns, and after that the full pattern (PDF and PNG) is paid.
Photos you may upload
- Photos you took yourself, or ones you have the right to use.
- No photos that sexualise anyone, and nothing illegal.
Uploading a photo confirms you have the right to use it this way.
Credits
One credit makes one pattern of any craft, size or number of colors. Packs: $4.99 for 15 credits, $9.99 for 40 credits, $19.99 for 100 credits. Credits never expire and have no cash value.
Buying just one pattern
You can pay $1.99 for the pattern on screen without buying credits. It is made as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Subscriptions
Plans: 50 credits a month for $4.99 a month, or 600 credits a year for $49 a year; 200 credits a month for $9.99 a month, or 2400 credits a year for $99 a year. They renew until you cancel from My patterns; canceling stops the next renewal.
Gifts
Signed-in users can turn at least 5 credits into a gift link, or buy a pack as a gift. Whoever opens the link first and signs in gets the credits.
Payment
Prices are in US dollars; buyers in the euro area see and pay the same figures in euros. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card number.
Your patterns
Patterns made from your photos are yours to use for your own projects, and you can sell the finished pieces you make from them. Don't resell or share the pattern files themselves as a product. Patterns stay in My patterns until you delete them.
No affiliation
DMC, Perler, Hama, Artkal, Red Heart and LEGO are trademarks of their owners, who don't make, sponsor or endorse this site. Color names and codes are used only to say which product matches each color.
If you break these terms
We may refuse to make patterns or close the account. Credits on a closed account for a breach are not refunded.
Disclaimer and liability
Patterns are made automatically; colors on screen and in print differ from real floss, beads and yarn, and material amounts are estimates (buy a little extra). The service is provided as is, and our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months, as far as the law allows.

We may update these terms; the date above shows the last change.
